The waiting approval service records are service records with the need of permission to use some unusual actions for the fault content, the approval will be sent by the service engineers after creating a service record, the service record that has an approval request will be kept on pending status (waiting status), in wait for the admin to either confirm or reject the request.
Each approval request can contain text, pictures, or even videos just to explain and show the admin the need of doing the required steps for serving the customer, the approval media will be uploaded from the mobile application and will be previewed by the admin in the web application.
The waiting for approval page will contain the followings:
- Status drop down menu: this menu filters the previewed tickets in the list below.
- Refresh button: this button refreshes the list to the latest updates made.
- Ticket search field: The admin can search for the ticket using ticket number, customer name, engineer name, or the content fault name.
- Go button: this button will execute the searching for the ticket in the tickets list.
- Tickets list view: this list will contain all the tickets or the tickets searched that has approval request with need of response, the admin can view a brief information about these tickets using the list view.
- View ticket information button: this button will display an information pop up dialog, this dialog will contain the full information of the selected ticket, and this dialog form will be read only and just for reviewing.
- View request button: this button will open another page that will contain all the media that the service engineer sent in his approval request, the page will contain the followings:
- Ticket number field: this field will contain the ticket number that the admin is viewing itu2019s media at that time.
- Request description field: this field contain the description sent with the approval by the service engineer, this field usually contains the explanation for making some sort of actions.
- Photo section: the service engineer can send photos alongside the approval request, this section is where the photo of the approval request is displayed for the admin.
- View section: the service engineer can also send videos alongside the approval request, this section is where the videos of the approval request is displayed for the admin.
- Back button: this button will return the admin to the previous page.
- Approve button: this button will open another page to respond for the request of the service engineer, the admin here can either reject or approve on the request, and he can also attach files with the response for the service engineer, the page will contain the followings:
1) Upload file button: this button will open up the file picker for the admin, the admin can choose the file heu2019d like to send back to the service engineer.
2) File name field: after choosing the file using the file picker, the file name will be filled in this field just to confirm on what file was chosen by the admin.
3) Approval description field: after loading the approval file, the user will enter here the approval description for the selected service record.
4) Back button: this button will return the admin to the previous page.
5) Approve button: this button is to confirm on sending the file to the service engineer, there must be a file picked to be able to send the approval, or else an error message will pop off.
- Pages numbering: this pages numbers is used to switch between the pages of the list.
