This page is to search and edit the sub product files of the customers, the admin can search for the customers first, then select the sub product to start the editing.
This page will contain the followings:
- Search by radio button: these button are the search options for the sub product file, the admin can search by the customer name, sub product name, s/n, content s/n, or the location.
- Search text field: after selecting the search by the admin will enter the search for text in this field to start searching for the required sub product file.
- Go button: this button is to trigger the search feature of the page, after pressing this button the database will return the sub products thatu2019s identical with the search by and text entered before.
- Search result list: this list will contain the sub product depending on the search by options entered before.
- Edit button: this button is to edit the sub product file desired, after pressing this button another page will be displayed for the admin, this pageu00a0
By pressing the edit button in the previous page, this page will be displayed, here the admin can view the sub product file information and edit on some of it, the editing can be done on some of the information only.
This page will contain the following:
- Service type drop down list: this field defines the type of services provided with this sub product file, could be on site service, remote support service, workshop or others.
- Price field: this field will contain the price of the sub product file.
- maintenance rate field: here the admin needs to enter the rate or the count of time that this sub product needs to be maintained across the year, this rate will depend on the customer needs.
- Maint. Contract price field: this is where the calculation of the maintenance result is previewed and the Equation is (maintenance price= (purchase price + all the cost of all additional contents that out of warranty).
- Maint. Contract discount field: In this field the discount for the sub product is entered if existed.
- Status drop down list: this menu declares the status this sub product is going through, it can be active, inactive, phase out, or out sourced.
- Location description field: the user can fill this field with the location description in case they were available.
- Note field: this field will contain any internal notes about this specific sub product file.
- Access constrains: this field will contain the access constraints of this sub product file.
- Update button: by pressing this button the user will commit the changes on the sub product file.
- Back button: this button returns to the previous page.
- Hardware contents install list: this list here will display all of the added hardware contents to and the additional hardware contents installed to the sub product file.
